About The Position

The Financial Analyst II will provide data management, project support, and reporting services to support the Government analysts and leadership in daily operational financial management analysis required as part of the maintenance of Navy ERP. This role involves providing Business Financial Management (BFM) support to supplement the government workforce's daily routine functions, such as building project structures in Navy ERP, data management within the system, and preparing financial reports from multiple projects and programs, which requires strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience.
Experience analyzing past and present financial data of an organization.
Experience estimating future revenues and expenditures.
Experience applying principles of finance.
Experience with preparation and implementation of Navy ERP.
Experience aiding organizations with financial functions such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, taxes, consolidation, cost control, and project control.
Experience evaluating and analyzing capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, etc.
Proficiency in research methods and statistical analysis.
Proficiency in the use of analytical software, specifically Excel spreadsheets.
Experience working as part of a team in the delivery of a product or service.

Evaluate and analyze capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, and financial statements.
Conduct research using statistical analysis and analytical software.
