King County's Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) provides equitable opportunities for people to be healthy, happy, and connected to community. We are seeking a motivated team member with experience in financial analysis and data reporting. This position will monitor revenues, incorporate forecasts, and grow the department’s financial monitoring and reporting by building and maintaining financial data tools and dashboards. The Financial Analysis and Reporting Specialist (Business and Finance Officer III) reports to the DCHS Budget and Reporting Manager and leads the monitoring of revenues received by the Department’s five divisions. Finances include revenue from federal, state, and local sources which are to be tracked and reported across fifteen funds. This position is part of the Director’s Office finance team, working with department stakeholders and across King County Departments. In addition, the position will be instrumental in developing, administering, and maintaining data tools and dashboard visualizations of budget and expense for DCHS appropriations and funds. This is an opportunity to help financial reporting across the organization and help DCHS divisions successfully navigate an evolving, changing financial reporting regime.
