About The Position

As a Lead Finance Specialist – Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for designing and implementing internal controls that are effective, efficient, and properly administered to deliver accurate and reliable data. You will handle communication with direct colleagues and the business regarding approaches and methods for solving complex problems. This role involves documenting SOPs and control frameworks covering aspects of CSRD, ISSB, EU Taxonomy, and GHG reporting. You will collaborate between key stakeholders of the Sustainability, Controllership, and FP&A teams to drive efficiencies and eliminate duplicative/unnecessary work. Additionally, you will work with the business to account for U.S. federal funding on Research & Development projects and collaborate with teams to help deliver the formulation of processes/controls as it relates to various emissions, sustainability data, and metrics to ensure consistency across our reporting landscape. You will also support audit and compliance requirements for emissions accounting and reporting, ensuring (where appropriate) the resolution of any audit findings.

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Be a subject matter expert in financial disclosures, auditing, consulting or other relevant financial or operational experience.
  • Have compelling technical, analytical and decision-making skills with an ability to interpret and summarize information.
  • Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences.
  • Be able to prioritize workflow to meet critical deadlines and pay exceptionally close attention to detail
  • Have effective problem identification and solution skills
