Requirements

  • Current Junior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor’s degree; open to all majors.
  • Interest in Personal Finance, Financial Wellness, Financial Planning or related fields.
  • Graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.

  • Proven organization skills and ability to manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work and communicate collaboratively and constructively with others.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound dials to clients on behalf of financial advising teams.
  • Study to obtain FINRA licenses.
  • Shadow client meetings.
  • Create a personalized development plan focused on your goals with your leader.
  • Develop and deepen relationships with current clients via the telephone.
  • Schedule client appointments for financial advising teams.
  • Engage in on-going personal development through classes, trainings, and community activities.
  • Study to obtain FINRA SIE licensing.
  • Participate in Ameriprise Financial corporate internship learnings and development opportunities.
  • Work closely with client experience teams.
