About The Position

Andersen is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Senior Associate with experience in general ledger accounting, intercompany accounting, and the financial close process across multiple entities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in U.S. GAAP and hands-on experience supporting consolidated financial reporting, maintaining balance sheet integrity, and ensuring audit readiness. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • 3+ years' work experience
  • Experience in U.S. GAAP financial reporting
  • Experience in General ledger accounting & reconciliations
  • Experience in Intercompany accounting & consolidation
  • Experience in ASC 842 lease accounting
  • Experience in Month-end / quarter-end close
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups)
  • Experience with ERP systems: SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Dynamo
  • Strong attention to detail and process improvement mindset
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Andersen will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status).

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain general ledger integrity, ensuring accurate coding, classification, and reconciliation of financial transactions
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entry preparation, accruals, etc.
  • Prepare and review journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation in compliance with U.S. GAAP
  • Manage intercompany accounting processes including due-to/due-from balances, reconciliations, and coordination of elimination entries for consolidated financial statements
  • Support consolidation activities across multiple entities ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial reporting
  • Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances in a timely manner
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of key accounts including accruals, prepaid expenses, and intercompany balances
  • Assist with partnership accounting processes including various payment types
  • Assist in preparation of audit schedules during audit cycles
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting support during close cycles and special projects
