About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical General Ledger (GL) Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of accounting experience (GL experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
  • Analyze financial data and investigate variances
  • Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
