About The Position

This is a part-time position for a Finance Office Assistant. The role involves supporting the finance office with various administrative and data-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in using office software.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Sheets.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with Excel, QuickBooks, or other accounting software is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with co-workers to request specified documents or receipts
  • Data entry and working in business accounting systems
  • Preparing and maintaining spreadsheets, reports, and forms
  • Organize and maintain company files
  • Send out mailings
  • Other responsibilities assigned as needed
