About The Position

This position serves as the Finance Manager for Eurofarma USA and is a key member of the local leadership team. The role partners closely with the CEO/General Manager and other functional leaders to support strategic decision-making, financial performance, compliance, and business growth. The position requires strong collaboration across multiple functions, including Commercial, Human Resources, Regulatory Affairs, and Corporate Finance. As such, the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment and influence across functions is essential for success. The role also serves as an important link between the U.S. operation and regional/global finance teams, ensuring alignment with corporate governance standards, financial reporting requirements, and strategic priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Strong background in both strategic finance and operational execution
  • Experience with U.S. GAAP, audits, and tax environment
  • Experience working closely with senior leadership
  • Strong financial and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Abilities to interact in a multidisciplinary manner in related areas of the company.
  • English Native plus
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • CPA or equivalent certification is a strong plus
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to support business strategy and decision-making
  • Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and insights to guide key initiatives
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
  • Drive performance monitoring and provide actionable insights
  • Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management
  • Support capital allocation and financial discipline
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies
  • Lead audits, tax filings, and maintain strong internal controls
  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations, ensuring efficiency and scalability
  • Drive continuous improvement across financial processes
  • Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and external advisors
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team
  • Account reconciliations/rebates for the US government's MEDICARE and MEDICAID programs.
