About The Position

The Finance Manager (Finance and Insurance/F&I) coordinates financing and insurance activities for vehicle customers. The role helps customers obtain financing, prepares associated legal documentation, and sells extended service contracts and additional protection products. The Finance Manager ensures deals are completed promptly and in compliance with legal requirements and dealership policies, while enhancing the customer experience and achieving profitability. The position works with customers purchasing new and used vehicles and collaborates with the Sales team and lending institutions. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Two years of dealership experience preferred.
• Strong and confident personality.
• Highly professional and dependable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and manage time amid frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong math skills.
• Strong computer and internet skills.

Responsibilities

• Offer vehicle financing and insurance to customers; explain aftermarket products, extended warranties, and manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
• Work with customers to obtain financing for vehicle purchases in compliance with state and federal law.
• Prepare state and federal vehicle-purchase documents accurately, promptly, and in accordance with applicable laws and procedures.
• Maintain good working relationships with lending institutions to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
• Coordinate with the Sales team to ensure new sales are referred to the F&I department and that the team understands finance, lease, and extended-service programs.
• Understand and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
