About The Position

This is a key financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and operator role with executive-level visibility. The Finance Manager drives spending and contract profitability across all product lines and works with production, engineering, sales, program management, accounting, and executive management. The position is based in Austin, Texas, and requires working onsite full-time; hybrid and remote work are not considered.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 6 years of experience in finance, business, or operations.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Must meet the stated U.S. export-control eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in business administration.
• Experience working in finance organizations at fast-moving manufacturing or technology companies.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) databases and structured query language (SQL) programming.
• Advanced Excel financial modeling skills.
• Experience presenting analytical results verbally and in writing across a multidisciplinary organization.

Responsibilities

• Identify business-group resource requirements, including headcount, capital, vehicle refurbishment and build costs, and operating expenses.
• Work with production and engineering teams to identify production and operational key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze performance against productivity targets.
• Partner with business unit leaders to prepare financial analyses that inform optimal operational decision-making.
• Work with supply chain to ensure financial obligations are appropriately tracked and committed as the company scales.
• Partner with accounting on financial close analysis and group-level reporting.
• Provide insight into spending variances and department-level reporting for business partners.
• Coordinate capital expenditure tracking and related cash forecasts for the business.
• Provide financial analysis and support for business initiatives.
