About The Position

The Finance Manager guides customers through the finance and insurance portion of their vehicle purchase in AutoNation’s no-haggle sales environment. The role makes credit decisions, submits deals to lenders for approval, helps resolve disconnects in the sales process, and identifies appropriate finance and insurance products for customers. The Finance Manager consults with customers to determine financing needs and payment options, presents transparent pricing and product options, processes finance transactions in compliance with applicable laws and company policies, and supports customer satisfaction, referrals, sales goals, and loyalty.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.

• Prior sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the store and transition them from Sales to Finance during the vehicle purchase process.
• Work directly with employees and customers to develop relationships.
• Determine customer financing needs and payment options through a consultative interview process.
• Present customers with a fully transparent pricing menu detailing financing options and products.
• Process finance transactions and ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Build rapport with customers to create a base of referrals.
• Set and achieve targeted sales goals.
• Develop superior product knowledge to effectively help customers.
• Handle administrative processes in a timely manner and in compliance with company policy.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
