About The Position

Finance and Business Planning enables Meta to plan, prioritize, and execute effectively. The organization takes a long-term view of business problems, provides independent and objective financial advice, and balances support for business partners with stewardship of company resources. The role calls for strategic thinking, strong stakeholder connections, effective communication, analytical judgment, and a bias toward action. As part of the G&A Finance team, the Finance Manager partners with Global Workplace Services, including Real Estate, Facilities, Culinary, and Security, to drive scale, efficiency, and innovation. This FP&A role oversees a multi-billion-dollar budget, delivers business analytics and insights, and guides strategic and operational decisions and initiatives. It contributes to business planning and forecasting, including annual operating budgets, and supports ad hoc strategic projects. The successful candidate is an experienced FP&A professional with data-management experience who works effectively across functions.

Requirements

At least 10 years of finance analysis experience in financial planning, operational planning, business strategy or analytics, corporate strategy, Corporate FP&A, or G&A Finance.
BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
Experience analyzing P&L for operating and capital expenditures and a proven understanding of GAAP.
Experience building financial and valuation models, including discounted cash flow and scenario analysis; proven reporting and presentation skills; experience working with large datasets and turning data-driven analyses into insights and recommendations.
Ability to scope and solve ambiguous problems independently, manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams, and deliver on committed timelines.
Experience building cross-functional relationships and partnering with senior organizational leaders.
Strong communication skills, including tailoring messages to audiences with varying seniority and technical expertise, and experience presenting investment recommendations to executive audiences and defending an independent point of view.

Nice To Haves

Experience in real estate finance, facilities, culinary, operational planning, capital projects, or infrastructure investment, including lease accounting, impairment, and asset valuation concepts.
Experience applying ASC 842 lease accounting in financial analysis or planning, including lease classification, the P&L and balance-sheet effects of lease modifications and terminations, and impairment of right-of-use assets.
Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize and redesign workflows and deliver measurable impact, such as efficiency gains or quality improvements.
Ongoing AI skill development, such as prompt/context engineering or agent orchestration, and keeping current with emerging AI technologies.
Experience implementing responsible and ethical AI practices, such as risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality and accuracy reviews.

Responsibilities

Partner with Finance and Global Workplace Services to develop and align key performance metrics that drive business growth and efficiencies and highlight risks and opportunities.
Build financial analyses to improve investment decisions, including analyses of returns on operational spending, presentations, and business cases.
Provide hands-on analytical support to the business and develop actionable insights to influence decision-makers and improve spending allocation.
Lead annual operating budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning for operating and capital expenditures, including developing cost-reduction levers and analyzing trade-offs.
Drive continuous improvement, automation, and scaling of forecasting and reporting processes, including redesigning workflows using AI, with measurable gains in cycle time, accuracy, and analyst capacity.
