About The Position

As a Finance Manager, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor Global Supply Chain Finance team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to drive business cadences including but not limited to month end close, Forecasting, Operating Plan and risk mitigation. You will perform variance analysis of accounts as needed, provide costing support for Annual Cost Update/Analysis, and maintain the MAPICS general ledger (tie outs, roll overs, chart of accounts, statement formats, etc.). You will also assist with managerial accounting in support of plant operations, including managing 1 direct report (Finance Analyst), coordinate distribution, loading and tie-out for SG&A forecast targets, and manage SG&A Budget and Headcount tracking. Additionally, you will spearhead process improvements that deliver efficiency improvements & impact business results, lead a team with direct responsibility of the Annual Physical Inventory and monthly Cycle count program, and complete tax documents (Ex: TN sales tax returns, annual property tax returns, etc.). You will also have reporting and query capabilities to support sites, project teams, and general analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4-7 years Accounting or Finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven problem solving skills, strong oral and written communicator, strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated understanding & application of GAAP.
• Highly proficient in Excel, knowledge of Hyperion HFM .
• Effective verbal & written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively work across organizational boundaries, both cross functionally and with business and Finance leadership.
• Knowledge of AS400/Mapics system; ISO and/or SOX Compliance Standards.

Responsibilities
