The Finance Manager provides planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis support for the Human Resources line of business and Centrally Allocated HR Expenses, including assisting with ad hoc deliverables. This role involves interacting with key contacts in the U.S. and Canada to enhance management reporting and optimize spend to drive greater shareholder return. The Finance Manager offers strategic Finance advice, analysis, and support for assigned business areas/portfolios, proactively managing senior relationships to provide deep business insights, decision support, and guidance. The scope of the role may have pan-business impact, focusing on comprehensive reviews, specialized analysis, audits, and initiatives with a yearly time span. Responsibilities include conducting financial analysis/research, reviews, and audits to support functional goals, acting as an interface with Finance partners/leaders and external parties, and serving as a source of advice to senior management. The position may lead teams of specialists, undertake complex projects requiring seasoned business partner knowledge, and integrate cross-functional processes. Work is guided by policies and industry standards, requiring innovative thinking to develop new solutions, communicate difficult concepts, and influence stakeholders. The Finance Manager works autonomously as a lead and guides others within their area of expertise.
