Kai Ming, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides free full-day full-year and full-day part-year services to eligible children ages 0-5 years old in San Francisco, CA with funding primarily from Head Start, the California Department of Education, California Department of Social Services, and San Francisco Department of Early Childhood. The Finance Manager oversees and directs the program's accounting processes and related internal control environment, internal and external reporting, budgeting, and financial compliance activities of the Head Start program. This role recommends and implements accounting and financial systems and related policies, procedures and processes to ensure that contract requirements are adhered to. Duties are performed in accordance with financial management techniques and practices consistent with the Office of Head Start, State and City requirements and regulations. The Finance Manager serves as financial advisor and provides thoughtful leadership and operation support to program leadership.
