Job Summary: Business Units Supported: Waitwhile, other GSS entities as needed The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the GSS Finance Director and key business partners for the Waitwhile business unit. This role is responsible for providing financial leadership, analysis, and business partnership that will be demonstrated through driving month end close, forecasting, and supporting the continued integration of Waitwhile into the Allegion network and procedures. A successful candidate in this role will drive thoughtful and strategic insights to a growth-minded business leadership team and thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment that requires balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in software as a service or related industries.
  • Proven ability to work with complex, cross-border business units and cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Hyperion, Maxio) and advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and CRM tools (e.g., Stripe, Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee month end and annual closing process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, coordination with shared services, as well financial analysis and reporting
  • Maintain a robust and effective system of internal controls over financial reporting, as well as ensure all financial reporting is in compliance with US GAAP and internal policies
  • Support the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, including coordination with business leaders to drive the Annual Operating Plan
  • Act as a strategic business partner to the Waitwhile leadership team, providing insights on business performance, growth and go-to-market opportunities, and risk mitigation
  • Collaborate closely with department leaders to ensure effective management of the following processes ARR pipeline and sales forecast management
  • Sales invoicing and proper revenue recognition
  • Accounts Receivable collections and monitoring
  • Accounts Payable and invoice processing
  • Capital expenditures and budget accountability
  • Oversee treasury functions, including daily cash management and accurate cash flow forecasting
  • Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance financial reporting and KPI metric accuracy and efficiency
  • Other finance responsibilities to support the larger Global Software Solutions organization, as needed
