About The Position

The Finance Manager is a highly transparent role within the Product support teams. It comes with opportunities to impact the way the business operates and grows. The role has significant exposure to senior Finance and Business leadership and plays a key role in the monthly, quarterly, annual and multi-year forecasting cycles. This role represents an excellent opportunity to support critical groups financially and operationally within the Product organizations. This position is in the FP&A team and will be working with Business Partners and Leaders to get input and update financial outlook. Collaboration with other FP&A, Operations and Accounting teams will be a strong aspect of this role. Look under the hood and express your strength in analyzing details proactively to provide solutions and make an impact. You should be a driver of results, proactive in approach and deadline conscious. Agility and passion while keeping a positive spin on relationships, willing to learn and develop skills are key to success. Strong financial modeling (excel/gsheets) and analytical skills with attention to transactional details, accuracy and building credibility will be needed in this role. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay flexible through growth and change is going to go a long way. Prior experience with P&Ls and supporting large engineering teams is a must.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A including managing P&Ls, OpEx budgets, revenue/cost modeling / Infrastructure Spend
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Financial modeling experience
  • Able to dive in details, deliver timely results as well as support senior level engagement
  • Strong systems skills (Hyperion, Anaplan etc)

Responsibilities

  • Drive financial optimization and growth by working extensively with Finance Management and Product Business Partners.
  • Play a key role in the monthly, quarterly, annual and multi-year forecasting cycles.
  • Support critical groups financially and operationally within the Product organizations.
  • Drive the business by focusing on transactional details and then rolling up into Financials models as needed to support Product P&Ls (Bookings, revenue, COGS and Opex for HC, Cloud Infrastructure Spend, margin analysis, SKU COGs analysis, new product costs) for business entities.
  • Inform and optimally communicate what the data is relaying.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting for forecast submissions, variance analysis and reporting dashboards.
  • Analyze results, distill/synthesize business performance indicators/metrics, assess business risk and operating performance, and timely communicate risks and opportunities.
  • Understand spend types and communicate this information.
  • Work with Business Partners and Leaders to get input and update financial outlook.
  • Collaborate with other FP&A, Operations and Accounting teams.
  • Analyze details proactively to provide solutions and make an impact.
