About The Position

Johnson & Johnson MedTech Surgery U.S. is recruiting for a Finance Manager GTN and Pricing. The role reports to the Senior Finance Manager for the JJMT Surgery U.S. Commercial GTN & Connected Insights. The preferred locations for this role are Cincinnati, Ohio and Raritan, NJ. The Finance Manager is responsible for maintenance, reporting, compliance, analytics and connected insights for the JJMT Surgery - US Commercial gross-to-net reserves and Price/Volume/Mix metrics process. This includes developing end-to-end financial strategy, forecasting, analysis, business decision support for the total U.S. business with ~$3.7 Billion in annual revenue. He/she is a key strategic and financial partner to multiple cross functional Commercial teams, including Channel Management, HCS, Contract Strategy, GAA and Enterprise Contract Management. This role is responsible for direct oversight and development of two (2) direct reports.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in finance and/or accounting is required.
  • Candidate must possess excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills while working in a dynamic, cross-cultural team environment.
  • Candidate must demonstrate a hands-on, proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for moving work forward.
  • Candidate must apply critical thinking and sound judgment to assess issues, identify opportunities, and drive continuous process improvement.
  • The ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively take on leadership roles in various areas is required.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of AI concepts and frameworks, including awareness of responsible and ethical AI practices, and has experience generating effective prompts to boost efficiency and productivity is required.

Nice To Haves

  • A major in finance or accounting is preferred.
  • A CPA, CMA, or other financial certification is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, J&J WWP’s, and J&J Finance standard methodologies is preferred.
  • Strong financial analysis, business partnering, team building, and influence management skills are preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., ERP and planning tools); Power BI, Alteryx or similar analytics tools preferred.
  • Prior managerial / supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial gross-to-net and price consolidation & analysis, including framing and insights for strategic business reviews
  • Lead and frame gross-to-net and price forecasts for planning cycles (Business Plan, June update, November update, LRFP, MTP)
  • Lead critical monthly and quarterly revenue entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Lead accuracy, completeness, and compliance of JJMT Surgery automated revenue accrual rates.
  • Coordinate and frame monthly pvm and price submissions
  • Active leadership for Commercial Finance SigniFi implementation (Anaplan, TransCend / TransAct)
  • Coordinate and frame quarterly and annual internal/external compliance/GAA rebate and revenue controls
  • Framing & influencing of business insights to shape business decisions and delivery of financial targets
  • Enhance systems, analytics and reporting tools
  • Oversight and development of direct reports and dotted-line team members
  • Partner with various IT teams to support interface data validation
