About The Position

The eCoE is focusing on three areas delivering a high-level of financial expertise, relevant insights, and an entrepreneurial mindset that enables stakeholders to make business decisions. The eCoE is a talent engine for Finance through capability building and network building. There are three focus areas within eCoE: Financial Backbone, Digital Innovation, and Analytics and Insights. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and audit-readiness of financial reporting across the organization. The candidate will oversee Month-End Close (MEC) activities by coordinating global and local teams, aligning reporting processes, and delivering consistent variance analysis to ensure a controlled, predictable close. This individual will partner closely with local teams to ensure smooth orchestration of the end-to-end planning and forecasting cycles. In addition, the role will drive improvements in financial systems, governance, and submission workflows, transitioning processes toward a more automated and structured framework. Overall, the position plays a key role in safeguarding financial data integrity and ensuring reliable, enterprise-level reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Demonstrated ability to streamline close and reporting processes, improving consistency, efficiency, and control.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data insights to identify, validate, and explain financial variances.
  • Experience applying advanced tools and technologies (including AI-enabled solutions) to support reconciliation and anomaly detection.
  • Deep technical finance expertise with a strong focus on data integrity, reporting accuracy, and governance across regional inputs.
  • Solid understanding of financial systems and data flows, with the ability to identify structural issues and ensure reliable end-to-end reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a single source of truth by maintaining 100% accuracy and reconciliation between local sub-ledgers and global reporting systems.
  • Own the end-to-end US financial data load process, ensuring accurate, timely, and seamless integration into global platforms.
  • Maintain complete and traceable audit trails for all executive-level reporting, supporting transparency and compliance.
  • Partner with Digital Local Finance, Sales Forecasters, and broader Finance teams to align end-to-end planning and forecasting cycles.
  • Lead and coordinate Month-End Close (MEC) activities, aligning cross-functional teams to meet global deadlines.
  • Drive variance analysis and synthesis, connecting local accounting results to global financial performance insights.
  • Oversee financial systems architecture and data flows, ensuring consistency from operational systems through executive reporting tools.
  • Partner with key stakeholders, including eCOE, local finance teams, Controllers, and global partners, to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Act as a governance lead with high visibility, managing competing priorities while safeguarding the integrity of financial reporting.
