About The Position

HOLT Group is offering an exciting opportunity for a High School Intern! This internship is designed to be an entry-level position that will work with our Accounts Payable department. Under the direction and guidance of a Supervisor, the Intern will receive on-the-job training in order to learn and develop in all department functions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be in a relevant Business or Finance program
• Must be at least 16 years and a Junior or Senior in High School
• This position involves extended periods in a stationary position
• This role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• Frequently moves product or equipment weighing up to 35 lbs.
• Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina

Responsibilities

• Shadows Department functions and receives hands-on training
• Maintains work areas in a neat and orderly condition
• Receives reviews and coaching with the designated mentor
• Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
• Performs other duties as assigned
