Finance Intern (Spring 2027)
About The Position
The Finance Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting a Strategic Business Unit or Functional Area within Raytheon’s Finance Organization. The position provides exposure to financial planning and analysis, accounting, program/contract business management, and pricing/proposal development. Interns receive on-the-job training and learn about Raytheon’s financials, organizational structure, products, customers, tools, processes, and how the company fulfills customer commitments. Interns may work on special assignments such as developing financial models, improving processes, and preparing individual or group projects for presentation to Finance Leadership. They also participate in weekly development sessions focused on technical and soft skills and network-building. The role is hybrid, with regular work both onsite and offsite; the onsite/offsite ratio is determined with the leader.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Management, or another related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
- U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Nice To Haves
- Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.5 desired.
- Previous internship experience in a related field.
- Experience leading a team project.
- Extracurricular involvement in school or community.
Responsibilities
