Finance Intern - Summer 2027
About The Position
STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Finance Intern to join its Finance team. The internship is open to undergraduate and graduate-level candidates and provides an opportunity to work alongside an experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects. This hybrid position requires at least three days per week in the office. Preference will be given to candidates able to participate for at least three months. The intern will learn and contribute to financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting; support daily finance operations; and assist with projects aimed at improving financial processes and decision-making. The position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software or tools.
- Prior internship or relevant work experience in finance.
- Experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction management industry.
Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and analyze financial data to assist with financial analysis.
- Prepare financial reports, presentations, and forecasts for management review.
- Gather relevant information and input data into financial models to support budgeting and forecasting.
- Research industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Assist with preparing financial statements and regulatory filings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
- Participate in meetings and discussions about financial planning, performance, and strategy.
- Perform tasks and projects as assigned by the finance team.
