Finance Intern - Summer 2027
About The Position
STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Finance Intern to join its Finance team for Summer 2027. The internship is open to undergraduate- and graduate-level candidates and provides an opportunity to learn from experienced finance professionals while contributing to meaningful projects. This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days per week in the office. Preference will be given to candidates who can participate for at least three months. The intern will learn and contribute across financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Working closely with the finance team, the intern will support daily operations and assist with projects intended to improve financial processes and decision-making. The position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software or tools.
- Prior internship or relevant work experience in finance.
- Experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction management industry.
Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and analyze financial data to assist with financial analysis.
- Prepare financial reports, presentations, and forecasts for management review.
- Gather information and enter data into financial models to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Research industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Assist with preparing financial statements and regulatory filings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process-improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
- Participate in meetings and discussions about financial planning, performance, and strategy.
- Perform tasks and projects assigned by the finance team.
