About The Position

The Finance Summer Intern will support financial analysis, reporting, planning, and special projects. The role includes analyzing financial data and profitability, preparing information for executive-level reporting, supporting quarterly budget reporting and annual planning, and maintaining competitor and industry intelligence. The intern may also assist with accounting-related tasks and other ad hoc analyses as needed.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with PowerPoint.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Interest in corporate finance and a desire to learn more about the asset management industry.
• Willingness to take on new projects and contribute wherever support is needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Experience with pivot tables and data analysis or interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial modeling and analysis, including assets, flows, revenue, and expense trends.
• Support profitability analysis, including new and enhanced client-level profitability assessments.
• Gather information across the organization to support executive-level reporting and presentations.
• Support quarterly budget reporting and annual planning processes for the firm.
• Gather, analyze, and maintain competitor and industry intelligence.
• Assist with accounting-related tasks as needed.
• Support ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed.
