About The Position
The Finance Summer Intern will support financial analysis, profitability assessments, executive reporting, budgeting and planning, industry research, and accounting-related tasks. The role also contributes to ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed. The listed annualized base pay range is $20.00 to $25.00. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including performance, proficiency, and demonstration of role competencies. Compensation may also include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with PowerPoint.
- Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Interest in corporate finance and a desire to learn more about the asset management industry.
- Willingness to take on new projects and contribute wherever support is needed.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Experience with pivot tables and data analysis or interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Perform financial modeling and analysis of assets, flows, revenue, and expense trends.
- Support profitability analysis, including new and enhanced client-level profitability assessments.
- Gather information across the organization to support executive-level reporting and presentations.
- Support quarterly budget reporting and the firm’s annual planning processes.
- Gather, analyze, and maintain competitor and industry intelligence.
- Assist with accounting-related tasks as needed.
- Support ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed.
