About The Position

Sioux Falls Kenworth, a leading Kenworth truck dealership in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is seeking a Finance & Insurance Manager. The manager generates additional dealership revenue by selling finance and insurance programs to new and used truck customers. The role works with customers, sales staff, sales managers, finance sources, insurance companies, and other dealership departments to process financing and insurance transactions, support sales, and meet monthly objectives.

Responsibilities

• Sell self-financing and credit life, accident, and health insurance to customers.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with finance sources, including factory sources.
• Submit finance paperwork to sources and obtain approval for all finance deals.
• Provide incentives for salespeople to sell finance and insurance in accordance with dealership policies.
• Instruct salespeople in methods of selling financing.
• Work with sales managers to secure a reasonable profit from every sale.
• Coordinate finance forecasting with sales department forecasting to achieve desired penetration and income.
• Attend managers’ meetings.
• Seek insurance companies for insurance paper.
• Maintain insurance files.
• Acquire licenses for selling insurance.
• Prepare monthly finance penetration reports and share them with the Dealer.
• Check paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, and other details.
• Manage responsibility for finance and insurance fees and their collection.
• Establish and meet monthly objectives.
• Work harmoniously with all departments.
• Participate in available training programs.
