About The Position

AutoNation is hiring a Finance Director for AutoNation Mazda Carlsbad. AutoNation is a large automotive retailer offering new and used vehicles, customer financing, parts, and maintenance and repair services. In this customer-facing finance role, you will guide customers through financing during their vehicle purchase, using a consultative process and transparent pricing while helping them choose financing options and products. The position also involves processing compliant finance transactions, achieving sales goals, and providing an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

• Prior sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the store and transition them from Sales to Finance during their vehicle purchase process.
• Work directly with employees and customers to develop relationships.
• Determine customers’ financing needs and payment options through a consultative interview process.
• Present customers with a transparent pricing menu detailing financing options and products.
• Process finance transactions and ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Build rapport with customers to create a base of referrals.
• Set and achieve targeted sales goals.
• Develop superior product knowledge to effectively help customers.
• Handle administrative processes in a timely manner and in compliance with company policy.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
