About The Position

The Vice President, Finance Transformation Lead is a hands-on, process- and data-oriented role that turns Finance transformation priorities into facts, analysis, recommendations, and decisions. The role supports the full Finance transformation portfolio through data analysis, problem solving, industry benchmarking, program management support, reduction of high-risk spreadsheet-based end-user-developed tools (EUDTs) and manual processes, and preparation of leadership meetings and presentations. Business and delivery teams remain accountable for execution and outcomes; the VP keeps the portfolio moving by building evidence from data, surfacing decisions early, and following up on commitments in partnership with the other DART pillars. The VP uses AI hands-on to assemble facts, accelerate analysis, produce high-quality materials, and communicate clearly with executives and delivery teams. Responsibilities include analyzing Finance and Treasury process inventories and source data; identifying inefficiencies, manual touchpoints, EUDTs, control gaps, and automation opportunities; quantifying and tracking business cases, KPIs, realized benefits, budgets, and total cost of ownership; and maintaining portfolio intake, prioritization, governance, plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and status reporting. The role leads the EUDT and manual-process reduction program, including inventory and risk assessment, determining whether work should be eliminated, standardized, automated, migrated, or retained under appropriate controls, and tracking reduction targets with owners. It also provides structured problem solving, industry benchmarking, ad hoc analysis, and end-to-end preparation of governance meetings and executive communications. AI outputs must be validated in accordance with firm policies and controls.

  • Ability to build baselines and defensible benefit and total-cost-of-ownership models.
  • Proven program management skills, including planning, milestone management, RAID management, and status reporting.
  • Structured problem-solving ability and capacity to use industry trends and benchmarks to inform recommendations.
  • Excellent executive presentation and storytelling skills, advanced PowerPoint skills, and hands-on AI fluency.

  • Provide program management support across portfolio initiatives, including integrated plans, milestones, RAID logs, and status reporting.
  • Track milestones and dependencies across initiatives and DART pillars, surface slippage and risks early, and follow up with initiative owners to secure inputs, decisions, and deliverables.
  • Lead the EUDT and manual-process reduction program end to end, maintaining an inventory with owners, volumes, effort, criticality, and risk in line with firm EUDT policy.
  • Assess spreadsheet complexity, usage, data sources, linkages, and control dependencies, and quantify associated effort and risk.
  • Determine where work should be eliminated, standardized, automated, migrated to strategic platforms and certified data, or retained as a controlled EUDT.
  • Set EUDT and manual-process reduction targets with owners and track them to closure.
  • Use hypothesis-driven analysis to address complex problems and develop recommendations, options, and trade-offs.
  • Monitor industry trends and benchmark Finance processes, costs, and performance against peers.
  • Respond to ad hoc analysis requests from transformation leadership.
