About The Position

This is an 11-week full-time Finance internship opportunity for Summer 2027, intended to start on May 24th, 2027, and conclude on August 4th, 2027. The position is hybrid, requiring 3 days in the office (typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and 2 days of remote work. Interns will be assigned to a department within the CVS Health Finance organization, such as Enterprise Finance Planning and Analysis, Health Care Benefits, Pharmacy Services, and Retail Finance, Internal Audit, Financial Systems, Treasury, Medical Economics, or Finance Operations. The Finance organization acts as strategic partners to reshape health care, making it more accessible, equitable, and affordable. The internship provides immersive training and experiences to build business acumen, financial and technical skills, and leadership capabilities. Interns will also meet with Finance leaders, receive mentorship, experience a supportive culture, and build a professional network. This internship is a key entry point into the Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP), a three-year rotational program designed to develop future finance leaders at CVS Health.

Requirements

Meet educational requirements (see education section).
Anticipated completion of bachelor’s degree program by full-time start date (January 2028 through August 2028) or equivalent experience.
Master’s students completing 3+1 or 4+1 programs (a Master’s/MBA program immediately following your bachelor’s degree) may be considered.
Have a major, minor, concentration, or work experience relevant to the position. Examples include: Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar quantitative majors.

Nice To Haves

Demonstrated leadership experience (e.g., active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects).
Internship, work, or project experience in a related field.
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Microsoft Excel for maintaining spreadsheets and performing moderately complex functions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Interest in obtaining a full-time Corporate Finance position within CVS Health upon graduation.

Responsibilities
