About The Position

This is an 11-week full-time Finance internship opportunity for Summer 2027, intended to start on May 24th, 2027, and conclude on August 6th, 2027. The position is hybrid, requiring 3 days in the office (typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and 2 days of remote work per week. Interns may be eligible for housing assistance. The role offers an hourly rate of $26/hr for 40 hours/week, with a company holiday on July 4th and two paid leave days. Work visa sponsorship is not available. Interns will be assigned to departments such as Enterprise Finance Planning and Analysis, Health Care Benefits, Pharmacy Services, and Retail Finance, Internal Audit, Financial Systems, Treasury, Medical Economics, or Finance Operations. The CVS Health Finance organization partners with the business to reshape health care, focusing on accessibility, equity, and affordability. The internship provides immersive training and experiences to build business acumen, financial and technical skills, and leadership capabilities. Interns will meet with Finance leaders, receive mentorship, experience a supportive culture, and build a professional network. This internship is a primary entry point into the Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP), a three-year rotational program designed to develop future finance leaders at CVS Health.

Requirements

Anticipated completion of bachelor’s degree program by full-time start date (January 2028 through August 2028) or equivalent experience.
Master’s students completing 3+1 or 4+1 programs (a Master’s/MBA program immediately following your bachelor’s degree) may be considered.
Have a major, minor, concentration, or work experience relevant to the position. Examples include: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or similar quantitative majors.
Meet educational requirements.

Nice To Haves

Demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include: active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects.
Internship, work, or project experience in related field.
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, for example Microsoft Excel to maintain spreadsheets and perform moderately complex functions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
An interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation.

Responsibilities
