Finance Consultant, Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint
About The Position
As a Finance Consultant on SNZweig’s Consulting team, you will partner with clients to deliver Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint implementations, consultative training, troubleshooting, and best-practice guidance to optimize system performance. You will evaluate client needs, present tailored solutions, and oversee client and project management activities, including budget monitoring, billing, collections, and identifying opportunities for additional services. The role combines technical expertise, leadership, mentoring, and business acumen to deliver value to clients and contribute to the consulting practice’s growth. SNZweig hires across Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Principal Consultant levels and will assess candidates’ experience during the interview process to determine the appropriate level. SNZweig is a remote-friendly AEC advisory firm formed through the merger of Stambaugh Ness and The Zweig Group. Requirements
- Experience with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint in the listed finance and accounting areas: Chart of Accounts, GL Accounts and Posting; Cash Management/Bank Reconciliation; AP, AR, Time & Expense Entry/Approval; Billing & Invoice Processing; Project Budgeting & Revenue Recognition; Labor Rate/Category Tables; Financial Reporting/Dashboards at an intermediate level; Multi-Company at a basic level; Project Planning integration with Finance at a basic level; Advanced Revenue Generation Methods at a basic level; Overhead Allocation; Intercompany Transactions and Consolidations at a basic level; and Custom Workflows and Approvals at a basic level.
- At least basic cross-functional knowledge of Resource Planning/Project Management or CRM.
- At least 5 years using Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint.
- At least 5 years of accounting/finance experience in an AEC-industry firm.
- At least 2 years of consulting experience.
Nice To Haves
- Vantagepoint Accounting or Master Certification is preferred.
- Prior consulting on Deltek products for external clients.
- Prior internal consulting or management of Deltek products, especially on a Finance team.
Responsibilities

- Provide trusted advisory services and deliver Vision/Vantagepoint implementations.
- Maintain accurate project records, coordinate with internal teams, and proactively resolve client issues.
- Develop client deliverables presenting detailed findings and actionable recommendations.
- Oversee project billing and collections and ensure client satisfaction in line with SNZweig service standards.
- Identify opportunities to expand client engagements, including cross-selling services.
- Contribute to marketing collateral, user group meetings, and sales support.
- Mentor and guide other consultants while ensuring high-quality delivery on time and within budget.
