Requirements

  • 3-6 years of law firm experience, primarily representing banks, other institutional lenders and borrowers in secured lending transactions.
  • Demonstrated experience with leveraged finance, although candidates with other commercial lending experience will be considered.
  • Skilled in drafting, editing, and reviewing loan documents, including loan agreements, security documentation, intercreditor agreements, commitment papers and closing documentation.
  • Proactive, with a strong business sense.
  • Ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships.
  • Ability to communicate complex matters clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent client service.
  • Strong work ethic, team player attitude, and an action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for transactions.
  • High initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrable client relationship skills.
  • Admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or are eligible to waive in.

Nice To Haves

  • Specific experience in leveraged lending, syndicated lending and sponsor finance.

Responsibilities

  • Represent banks, other institutional lenders and borrowers in secured lending transactions.
