About The Position

Join Morrison Mahoney LLP as a full-time mid-level Associate Attorney, for a trial practice with emphasis on premises liability, trucking, construction, employment and product liability defense. This is an exciting opportunity with 3 to 5 years' civil litigation experience and are eager to tackle complex legal challenges. Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.
At least three (3) years of prior civil litigation experience.
Experience in both Massachusetts state and federal courts.
Self-starter with strong advocacy skills.
Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
Ability to perform legal research and respond to discovery requests.
Experience taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions.
Attention to detail and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage own caseload from inception to resolution.
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
Engage closely with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to devise effective litigation strategies.
Provide clients with updates and interim status reports on their cases.
Conduct in-depth legal research, preparing memoranda to bolster case strategies.
Work alongside partners and senior attorneys to ensure seamless case management.
