About The Position

Meta is seeking a Finance Associate to join the cross-Reality Labs Finance team within the Finance and Business Planning organization. The role is part of a Reality Labs-wide horizontal team responsible for core deliverables and projects that are most efficiently completed centrally. The team aims to improve the efficiency of Reality Labs Finance while delivering high-quality, critical planning work through expertise in Reality Labs Finance processes, relationships across the organization, and visibility into work spanning its vertical teams. The Finance Associate will provide strategic guidance and cross-team ownership for a key Reality Labs vertical, lead close and forecast cycles, support the annual budget process, drive systems efforts, and build collaborative partnerships with teams across Reality Labs, Finance, Accounting, and Engineering. The role also supports risk management, internal controls, and financial compliance.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in FP&A, consulting, investment banking, business strategy, business operations, and/or analytics.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a relevant field.
Ability to tailor communication and messaging for audiences with varying levels of seniority and technical experience.
Understanding of financial statement analysis and core financial planning processes.
Track record of building cross-functional relationships and partnering with leadership across organizations.
Experience using Excel and analytical methods to translate large amounts of data into insights and recommendations.
Experience prioritizing competing workstreams based on impact, deadlines, and stakeholder needs.

Nice To Haves

Ability to integrate AI tools to optimize or redesign workflows and drive measurable impact, such as efficiency gains or quality improvements.
Experience working with financial planning systems, preferably Oracle products such as Hyperion Essbase.
Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices, such as risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality and accuracy reviews.
Ongoing AI skill development, such as prompt/context engineering and agent orchestration, and staying current with emerging AI technologies.
Experience improving financial planning systems and tools, such as Oracle Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Fusion, or Cloud, to drive process efficiencies.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic guidance and lead cross-team ownership for a key Reality Labs vertical within Reality Labs Finance, empowering the team to achieve its goals.
Develop and implement standardized processes across the Reality Labs cross team to support collaboration and efficiency.
Lead close and forecast cycles across a key Reality Labs vertical, including defining timelines, templates, and processes, and preparing flux commentary and forecasts.
Help execute the annual budget process by partnering with vertical FP&A teams to support workstreams that allocate resources, inform business decisions, and execute operational plans.
Drive key systems efforts across Reality Labs Finance.
Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships between Reality Labs vertical FP&A teams, Reality Labs Consolidations, Corporate FP&A, and cross-functional teams including Accounting, Technical Accounting, and internal engineering teams.
Support risk management, internal controls, and financial compliance.
Provide thought partnership and foster collaboration across the Reality Labs Finance organization.
