You have 3-5 years of law firm experience, primarily representing banks, private credit and other institutional lenders in sponsored or non-sponsored secured loan transactions across various domestic and cross-border finance transactions, including: senior secured, mezzanine and subordinated debt transactions; structured finance; acquisition finance; loan workouts and restructurings; and other related transactions. Preference is given to candidates with specific experience in leveraged lending, commercial lending and/or private credit finance. Experience with asset-backed finance, warehouse financing, and royalties financing is a bonus, although not required. You have experience in managing component parts of a financing transaction, including structuring, documentation and closing. You have the ability to collaborate with tax, regulatory, intellectual property, corporate (M+A) teams and other specialists on the structuring and documenting of financing transactions. You are innovative and forward thinking which complements excellent problem-solving skills in the management of business and legal matters. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex matters concisely and effectively in oral and written form to your team and clients. You have a strong proactive work ethic and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for client matters. You are a team player with a high level of initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrable client relationship skills. You have strong academic credentials in law coursework at a top-tier law school. You are admitted to the New York State bar or are eligible to waive in. Requirements

  • You have 3-5 years of law firm experience, primarily representing banks, private credit and other institutional lenders in sponsored or non-sponsored secured loan transactions across various domestic and cross-border finance transactions, including: senior secured, mezzanine and subordinated debt transactions; structured finance; acquisition finance; loan workouts and restructurings; and other related transactions.
