About The Position

Our client, one of the nation's premier law firms, is seeking a lateral associate, principal or counsel with significant experience in cash flow-based lending to join their dynamic and growing nationally recognized debt finance team. They represent a diverse array of lender-side clients including money center banks, private credit funds, business development companies, & other institutional investors in sophisticated debt finance transactions across a wide range of industries spaces. In addition, our client welcomes candidates who are interested in pursuing the equity partner track, as well as those who prefer to focus on delivering high-level legal execution and exceptional client service in a fast-paced, collaborative environment without seeking partnership.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in transactional debt finance matters, particularly cash flow and acquisition financings.
• JD (Juris Doctor) Degree from an ABA accredited Law School
• Active Massachusetts Bar Membership in Good Standing
• Enthusiastic team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in sports finance is a plus but not required.
• Large firm or elite boutique experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent leading financial institutions and private credit lenders in complex cash flow financing transactions.
• Work on a wide variety of deals, including acquisition financings, senior secured and mezzanine debt structures, junior capital investments, and sports financings involving team and league lending, and arena and stadium projects.
• Manage all aspects of transactional workstreams—from structuring and negotiating deal documents to overseeing closings.
• Collaborate closely with partners and clients in a fast-paced, high-performing practice.
