About The Position
A premier global law firm is seeking a Finance Associate Attorney to join its Atlanta office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing lenders, borrowers, private equity sponsors, financial institutions, and investment funds in sophisticated domestic and cross-border financing transactions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of banking & finance, leveraged finance, commercial finance, or corporate finance experience gained at a sophisticated law firm
- Experience representing lenders, borrowers, private equity sponsors, banks, direct lenders, and financial institutions
- Experience handling leveraged acquisition financings, syndicated credit facilities, asset-based lending, cash flow lending, refinancing transactions, and other secured lending matters
- Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, commitment letters, security agreements, intercreditor agreements, guaranties, collateral documents, and other financing documents
- Experience managing complex financing transactions from initial structuring through closing
- Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage sophisticated transactions while maintaining significant client interaction
- Excellent academic credentials
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
- Georgia bar admission required or ability to become admitted
Responsibilities

- Managing complex financing transactions from initial structuring through closing.
