About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Final Assembly Shipping-2nd Shift. This position is eligible for a variable incentive program. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
1 year of manufacturing experience.
Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in a team-based environment.
Ability to use various hand tools to assemble components and verify quality in a Lean manufacturing environment.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, step ladders, and cranes to assemble units.
Ability to use standard computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook and job-specific software including Enovia.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with persuasive and analytical problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

3 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
3 months of experience using hand and air (pneumatic) tools.
South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime to support business needs.

Responsibilities

Assemble, wire, fit, and modify work in the manufacture of medium and high voltage, indoor and outdoor assemblies, breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, customer service orders, power modules, and any sub-assemblies.
Work from manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, and written or verbal instructions, following established procedures.
Complete ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists, feedback forms, and production lists.
Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wiring operations.
Receive, pick, label, pack, and prepare materials and assemblies for shipment.
Maintain minimum Kanban inventory levels and report shortages.
Inspect all assemblies for secure hardware, completeness, and cleanliness.
Respond to change notices, customer-requested adjustments, and development needs.
Maintain active forklift certification.
Operate an overhead crane.
Work at heights ranging from 4 to 15 feet.
