  • Capture video and photography at significant ministry events as prioritized by the Creative Director, within team capacity and weekend priorities.
  • Maintain all active video projects in the team's project management system, keeping project status, next steps, and due dates current while proactively communicating progress and raising concerns early when deadlines or deliverables are at risk.
  • Maintain organized footage, project files, and finished deliverables in the department's shared storage using established naming, filing, and archival conventions.
  • Partner with the Creative Director and Venture Institute leadership to produce podcasts, interviews, educational and instructional videos, and other approved video-based content.
  • Provide filming, editing, recording, lighting, audio, and post-production expertise appropriate to each project.

  • Help steward, maintain, and recommend film and video equipment and production tools.
  • Develop efficient production workflows that maximize Venture's staff, equipment, volunteers, time, and budget.
  • Help strengthen Venture's in-house production capability and reduce reliance on outside production companies.
  • Provide leadership for the Live/Broadcast Video ministry for weekend services, online services, and other live events as assigned.
  • Partner closely with the Production Team and Creative Director on camera systems, placement, testing, and operation. The Production Team is responsible for the systems; this role is responsible for the live video team and the on-screen result.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and develop volunteers serving in film, video, broadcast, photography, and podcast production, using Planning Center or other established systems.
  • Identify and develop high-capacity volunteers who can assume greater responsibility and leadership.
