About The Position
RxFunction, Inc. is a medical device manufacturer dedicated to improving patient mobility, independence, and quality of life. Our business relies on secure, scalable, and compliant technology platforms to enable patient services, sales, and operations. FileMaker and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) are core systems supporting these functions, and we are seeking an experienced application developer to ensure they continue to deliver high performance and business value. This role is a senior, hands-on FileMaker developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable FileMaker solutions across the application lifecycle. Primary duties include architecting data models, developing complex scripts and calculations, creating intuitive layouts and user workflows, administering FileMaker Server/Cloud deployments, and implementing integrations with external systems. While the core focus is FileMaker, the role includes a structured learning pathway to Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Requirements
- 7+ years professional experience designing and developing FileMaker solutions.
- Deep, demonstrable knowledge of FileMaker scripting, calculations, relationships, layouts, security model, and server administration.
- Strong experience with integrations (REST APIs, JSON, XML), SQL, and web publishing or FileMaker WebDirect.
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies—must be motivated to learn Microsoft Dynamics CRM and related Microsoft stack topics.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into reliable, user-focused applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and delivery of complex FileMaker solutions (FileMaker Pro/Server/Cloud).
- Architect database schemas, layouts, scripts, calculations, and custom functions with scalability and maintainability in mind.
- Build secure, user-friendly interfaces and workflows tailored to client requirements.
- Integrate FileMaker with external systems via REST APIs, ODBC/ESS, OAuth, webhooks, and middleware.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize FileMaker performance.
- Collaborate with project managers, analysts, and stakeholders to define requirements and timelines.
- Learn Microsoft Dynamics CRM and gradually support Dynamics-related integration and customization tasks.
