About The Position

ShopWorks, part of the Fullsteam organization, is looking for a FileMaker Developer to join our team! We provide business management software and workflow solutions for the decorated apparel, promotional products, and printing industries. Our systems help shops streamline operations, improve efficiency, and integrate with key vendor and financial platforms. This is a high-impact role where you’ll architect, lead, and maintain our core vertical market FileMaker solution that directly support our customers and internal operations. As a FileMaker Developer, you will own the design and development of our FileMaker environment. You will work closely with leadership and internal departments to translate operational needs into robust, scalable solutions. This role requires not only deep technical expertise, but also strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional FileMaker development experience.
• Proven experience leading FileMaker projects end-to-end.
• Expertise in FileMaker scripting, calculations, relationship modeling, and layouts.
• Strong experience with FileMaker Server administration.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, and cURL.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Must be available to work on-site at our West Palm Beach, Florida office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of FileMaker Pro/Server/Go applications.
• Design efficient data models, scripts, calculations, and user interfaces.
• Build and manage integrations with external APIs and third-party platforms.
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot existing solutions.
• Work closely with internal teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that drive business efficiency.
• Document system architecture, workflows, and development standards.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
