About The Position

The File Clerk is responsible for supporting the Legal and Operations teams during daily operations. This includes the opening, sorting, preparing, scanning, and mailing of all documents and payments with high accuracy. The File Clerk will also assist in indexing documents to consumer accounts using our internal systems of record. This role will also be responsible for scanning and sorting documents related to our automotive process, including titles, lien statements, and correspondence for auto accounts. The File Clerk will also perform lien releases as required by the Department of Motor Vehicles in which the lien is recorded.

Requirements

  • Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • High School Diploma
  • English
  • 1 - 2 years customer service or clerical experience.
  • Experience with MS Office.
  • Good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor
  • 2+ years work experience in related field.
  • Past experience with lien release process.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (particularly Excel).

Responsibilities

  • Open, sort, prepare, scan, and mail documents daily.

  • Process documents in all aspects of the Document Services Operations processes with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Scan, index, and file documents as part of our automotive process.
  • Perform lien releases in accordance with state law and company policy.
