About The Position
Coordinate field and facility rentals and support youth sports/activities organizations in the community. Field and facility coordination includes: providing support to users, working with contractors, and serving as liaison between the school district and community members. Foster relationships between the community, Sherwood schools, and families.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Possess a valid Oregon Driver’s License
- Effective communication skills
- Familiar with public school procedures
- Familiarity with sports and youth activities
- Comfortable with computer applications, email, and online scheduling
- Strong organizational skills
- Self starter
Responsibilities
- Provide communication link between youth sports organizations, community partners, and district staff
- Use FMX software to schedule users according to priority level
- Use security software to schedule door locking/unlocking
- Responsible for creating and tracking individual and group invoices
- Use online HVAC software
- Oversight on all sporting fields; regular on site walkthroughs to access field and paint conditions and intervene appropriately
- Coordinate with Facilities and Operations staff for field painting, interior/exterior athletic related maintenance needs, and weekend coverage
- Coordinate with landscape contractors, sport field specialist, and pest control companies
- Use district communication applications to send Integrated Pest Management messages
- Responsible for emergency weekend calls, typically from youth sports, redirect to maintenance team members and others as needed
