About The Position

United Protective Services is looking for a skilled security professional to serve as a morning Field Training Officer. In this role, you will visit assigned properties, train newly hired and existing Officers, evaluate job performance, and provide operational support throughout the night. The successful candidate will be a confident leader who communicates clearly, handles challenges effectively, and understands the importance of accountability, consistency, and professional service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with the ability to meet driving requirements.
Minimum age of 25 because of company insurance guidelines.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience within security operations, including experience as a Lead Officer, Field Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Site Supervisor, or related position.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.
Ability to make sound decisions and resolve problems with limited supervision.
Drivers License
Over the age of 25 (Insurance Requirement)

Nice To Haves

Prior military or law enforcement service is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Conduct on-site training for new and current Security Officers.
Visit client locations to review performance and post compliance.
Identify deficiencies and provide immediate coaching when appropriate.
Verify that Officers understand their duties, post orders, and company standards.
Provide field assistance during security incidents and other urgent situations.
Document inspections, training activity, and operational concerns thoroughly.
Maintain a professional presence when interacting with Officers, clients, and the public.
Drive between multiple assigned properties during the shift.
