As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support badge and access control processes. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and report security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of automotive production, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
  • Report facility, equipment, and perimeter concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
