FIELD TRAINING MANAGER for EVS - National Capitol Region
About The Position
The Field Training Manager for Environmental Services (EVS) in the National Capitol Region plans, coordinates, and executes a department-wide safety program. The role involves observation, education, audits, and reporting. The manager trains associates on quality assurance and safety policies and procedures, maintains accurate training records, evaluates the effectiveness of the QA system, and makes changes as needed. They prepare monthly safety compliance reports and statistics, work with managers to reduce safety and compliance violations and repeat violations, and provide written feedback to unit management on non-compliance observations, including corrective action plans with preventative measures. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Two- or four-year degree.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in oral presentations.
- Initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to promote continual improvement, lead by example, and promote best practices.
- Demonstrated experience with process and program management.
