The Field Training Manager is a dynamic, hybrid role responsible for creating, executing, and maintaining comprehensive training and developmental programs for hourly teammates, salaried managers, and support center staff across all company and franchise Alamo Drafthouse locations. Reporting within the Training & Development Department, this position focuses on driving efficiency, operational excellence, and teammate growth while ensuring seamless alignment with brand values, compliance standards, and culture. Major areas of responsibility include managing Regional Field Trainers, overseeing digital learning via The Reel, leading initiative rollouts, and directing the recruitment, deployment, and development of On The Road (OTR) teams for new venue openings and field support. Operating with high autonomy, this self-driven role balances hands-on field engagement (70%) with remote and administrative work (30%). The Manager maintains a flexible, business-aligned schedule—including nights, weekends, and holidays—to observe peak venue operations at least twice weekly and drive continuous operational improvement. Frequent local venue visits and extended out-of-state travel are required to support grand openings, company conferences, and ongoing field operations across the system.
