About The Position

PIPESTONE is hiring a Field Technology and Infrastructure Technician based in Pipestone, Minnesota. The role supports technology systems across offices, feed mills, and pig farms throughout the Midwest, helping keep systems running efficiently. The technician responds to IT support requests, troubleshoots technical issues, maintains infrastructure and equipment, and provides on-site support at multiple locations.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Windows-based computer systems in a business environment.
• Understanding of computer hardware and networking fundamentals.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with help desk or ticketing systems.
• CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or related credentials.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field; not required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to IT support requests and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Support network infrastructure, firewalls, backup systems, security cameras, and other IT equipment.
• Install and configure computers, printers, mobile devices, access points, and related hardware.
• Use remote monitoring and management tools for diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain hardware and software across multiple locations.
• Travel to offices, feed mills, and farm sites throughout the Midwest to provide on-site technical support.
