About The Position

National Water Services, LLC. is hiring a Field Technician to service FreshPure water vending machines at assigned retail stores in Kildeer, Illinois. This is independent route work for someone who prefers working autonomously and wants a consistent schedule. Visits occur weekly or every two weeks, depending on the store location, and each stop takes about an hour. Total weekly hours depend on the number of stores assigned to the route. The technician cleans and disinfects each machine, takes and records meter readings, photographs the machine’s condition, and submits a service report to the home office. Any damage, mechanical problems, or unusual conditions must be reported. This is not a repair role; a Service Technician handles mechanical or technical issues. Supplies are provided, and the stated rate of $26 per hour includes mileage and travel. The role is described as a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, suitable for flexible part-time income.

Requirements

Reliable vehicle.
Valid driver’s license.
Smartphone with a camera for photo submissions.
Attention to detail and ability to follow a checklist consistently.
Reliability and ability to show up as scheduled.
Good communication with the home office.

Nice To Haves

Experience in field services, retail merchandising, delivery routes, janitorial work, or similar work.
Self-starter who can work without close supervision.

Responsibilities

Visit assigned retail stores weekly or every two weeks, depending on location.
Clean and disinfect FreshPure machines inside and out.
