About The Position

National Water Services, LLC. (NWS) is hiring Field Technicians in Rochester, NY to maintain FreshPure water vending machines in retail stores. Technicians follow an assigned route, visiting locations weekly or every two weeks depending on the store. The work involves cleaning and disinfecting machines, collecting and recording meter readings, photographing machine conditions, submitting service reports to the home office, and reporting damage, mechanical issues, or other unusual conditions. This is not a repair role; technical or mechanical issues are flagged for a Service Technician to address. Each stop takes about an hour, and weekly hours depend on the number of stores assigned to the route. The role is a 1099 independent contractor position paying $26 per hour, with mileage and travel included in the rate. Supplies are provided, and technicians have a home-office contact for support.

Requirements

• Reliable vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Smartphone with a camera for photo submissions.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow a checklist consistently.
• Reliability and ability to show up as scheduled.
• Good communication with the home office.
• No water-systems experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in field services, retail merchandising, delivery routes, janitorial work, or similar work.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect FreshPure machines inside and out.
